1、1. all修飾名詞主語時，可放在主語和行為動詞之前 ， 但要放在be動詞之后（但是若be動詞是句子中的最后一個詞時，all要放在be動詞之前） 。

3、They are all steel workers. 他們都是鋼鐵工人 。

5、2. all指“三個（以上）的數目”，反義詞是none；both指“兩個數目”，反義詞是neither 。

8、3. 不能說“all + 代詞” ， 要說“代詞+ all”或“all of + 代詞” 。
9、如：誤：All they like her.正：They all like her. /All of them like her. 他們都喜歡她 。
10、4. “All + 冠詞（指示代詞或物主代詞）”=“冠詞（指示代詞或物主代詞）+ whole” 。
11、如：all the world = the whole world全世界all my life = my whole life 我的一生注：all可修飾不可數名詞或復數名詞 ， the whole不可直接修飾不可數名詞或復數名詞，應用the whole of 。
12、如：all Shanghai = the whole of Shanghai 全上海all ink = the whole of ink 所有墨水all his books = the whole of his books 他所有的書5. all用于否定句時通常表示部分否定，要表示全部否定可用no，none等 。
13、如：All my friends cannot swim. 并非我所有的朋友都會游泳 。
14、None of my friends can swim. 我所有的朋友都不會游泳 。
15、I don”t know any of them. 他們我都不認識 。
16、6. all不能與what連用，可把what改為that 。
17、例如：誤：This is all what I want to say.正：This is all that I want to say. / This is what I want to say. 這就是我要說的全部 。
18、7. “all +地名”，表示“全……的人”；“the whole of +地名”表示“全……的地方” 。
19、如：All America celebrate Independence Day on July 4. 7月4日全美國（人民）慶祝獨立紀念日 。
20、He has traveled the whole of America. 他已經游遍了全美國 。
21、8. “all +抽象名詞”=“very +形容詞”，前者語氣更強 。
22、如：Little Amy is all attention. = Little Amy is very attentive. 小埃米非常專心 。
23、He is all kindness to us all. = He is very kind to us all. 他對我們大家非常親切 。
24、9. at all作“完全；根本”解時，多用于否定句；用于條件句時表示“既然；即使”；用于疑問句時，作“到底；在任何程度上”解 。
25、如：If it were not for the sun, we could not live at all. 如果沒有太陽 ， 我們根本不能生存 。
