地理場景通常出現在試題S2或者S4,如果在S2一般考查動物園,特點是以獨白的形式出現:通常是司機,導游,BBC program介紹某個地方或城市的情況,澳大利亞問題和南極問題是地理考試的關鍵問題,如澳大利亞大堡礁等問題,它也會涉及到環境問題,表格題占大部分,也會出現選擇題目,回答問題等題型。
注:獨白者的不同,如果是一個司機獨白那么意味著當地口音的問題,如果是一個導游就意味著會有一些信息是反映與當地旅游資源有關,如果它是一個BBC program意味著發音沒有問題,但會有很多專有名詞出現。
常見考點
1. 地名：Australia south pole.
2. 行政區劃：Province, state, county.
3. 人口：一般是一個很大的數字，注意記錄。
4. 主要產業：manufacturing processing farming sheep and cattle farming fishing fish farming wine-making transportation printing electronics.
5. 氣候：highest/lowest temperature wet and windy cold and wet rainy cloudy flood drought.
6. 優點和缺點：cost of living crime pace of life interesting boring/dull.
