隕石怎么來到地球
中國是最早發現隕石的國家之一，早在石器時代，古人就發現了隕石，稱之為“隕星”或“流星石” 。
通常隕石被認為是行星的碎塊，在太空運行時碰撞、破裂形成，它們被地球的引力捕獲，以極快的速度進入大氣層。大多數與大氣摩擦，生熱，發光，最后氣化，仍有部分比較大的石塊殘留下來，成為隕石。

Imagine you are munching on a cookie while having a picnic. You might drop some crumbs on the ground.
想象一下，野餐的時候，你正在吃餅干，可能會把很多碎屑掉到地上。
Comets and asteroids also drop crumbs. These small bits of space rock are called meteoroids. Sometimes Earth passes through the orbits Of these meteoroids. Some even hit Earth.

Protecting Earth 保護地球
You wear a helmet when you ride a bike. Your helmet protects you if you fall. Earth has protection, too.

You do not need to worry about space rocks crashing to Earth. Very few ever hit the ground. If a large one did get close, people would know it was coming.
