Mount Tai is crowned as the most famous of Chinas five great mountains, namely, Mount Tai in East China, the Hengshan Mountain in South China, the Huashan Mountain in the West China, the Hengshan Mountain in North China and the Songshan Mountain in Central China.
Mount Tai is situated in central Shandong Province,stretching over 200 kilometers. North of the city of Taian stands Mount Tais highest peak, rising to 1,545 meters above sea level.This mountain impresses visitors with its majestic and precipitous appeal, its summit Yuhuanding overlooking the surrounding valleys and perilous peaks.
To reach Mount Tais summit,we will feast our eyes on the charming scenery and appreciate the ancient architectual works of various styles.Soon we will trudge along a staircase that leads to the Heavenly Southern Gate. Taishan Mountain locates in the east of North China Plain and the middle of Shandong province erecting from the Shandong hills. It is prominent around other hills. The prominent peak, Yuhuang peak, is 1545 meters high and locates in east 117.6 degree, north 36.16 degree. The south of Taishan Mountain is higher than the north. Its south foot of mountain begins from Tai'an city and its north foot of mountain stops in Jinan City, the distance between which is 60kms. In Taishan Mountain, the transportation is convenient with the Jinghu railway passing by in the west. In its north is Jinan city, which has another name of spring city . The distance between Taishan Mountain and Qubu is 70kms. Many roads and railways such as Taifei, Taixin, Taining, and Taiji meet in Tai'an city, which just locates in the south of Taishan Mountain.

Mount Tai is a world-known muontain that represents China.I have been dreaming to be there since I had heard the story about it.fortunately(luckily),I got a chance to visit the great mountain with my family in this summer and i had a good time there.
As Taian is far from my city,we flew to Taian, the city where Mount Tai located.At first ,we had a rest in our hotel to 2:00 am,then we got up and decided to climb Mount Tai to see the sunrise.
After 3 hours' struggling,we succeeded conquering the peak,YuHuangDing.We took photos,prayed and so on.No doubt,we had a wonderful time on it.Then we walked to the hotel carefully,especially during 18 pan.
What an unforgetable memory.I hope next chance.
