Yang Beibei, deputy head of the Chaoyang, which has around 3.5 million residents, said the district started the first round of districtwide nucleic acid testing on Monday.The other two rounds will be on Wednesday and Friday. As of 8 pm Monday, a total of more than 3.69 million people in the district had been sampled, with 526,457 testing negative.

Beijing will conduct three rounds of nucleic acid testing in 11 areas from Tuesday to Saturday in efforts to curb the risk of COVID-19. The testing will cover people in the districts of Xicheng, Dongcheng, Haidian, Fengtai, Shijingshan, Fangshan, Tongzhou, Shunyi, Changping, Daxing and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, said Xu Hejian, spokesperson of the municipal government of Beijing. Beijing has suspended events with large gatherings, such as theatrical performances, sports games as well as commodities exhibitions and sales promotions, and halted offline courses and activities of after-school training institutions, as well as home renovation and construction projects , Xu said.
26日起至30日 ， 北京將擴大核酸篩查范圍 ， 對東城、西城、海淀、豐臺、石景山、房山、通州、順義、昌平、大興、經開區等11個區人員開展三輪核酸檢測 。 在此期間 ， 暫停文藝演出、體育賽事、展銷促銷等大型聚集性活動 ， 暫停校外培訓機構線下培訓課程及培訓活動 ， 暫停零散裝修零散建設工程（含家庭裝修、農村建房）施工 ， 檢測結束后再行恢復 。
