公元2010年 ， 尋丹人因為親人身體有亞健康狀況 ， 不斷遍訪名醫 ， 尋醫問藥 。 在有緣人指點與某大機構推薦下 ， 結識了一位擁有家族傳承秘方的人士 。 通過堅持不懈地溝通與努力 ， 傳承人終將該褲頭秘方給予尋丹人（潮汕民間對具有特別效果的藥方 ， 俗稱“褲頭方”） 。

該秘方的核心在于制作工藝與理念的特殊性 。 比如 ， 生姜入藥是否包括姜皮？草藥是否生搗汁入藥？是否先炒熟？炒熟到什么程度？這些工藝是西醫無法理解的 ， 但中國民間幾千年就是如此考究 。 比如屠呦呦發現青蒿草藥煮熟就會導致藥效成分喪失 ， 故而替換為采用低溫萃取法——成功提取出青蒿素 。
